Parent Committee
Ave Maria Kindergarten is a not-for-profit organisation managed by an elected Parent Committee of parent/carer volunteers at our Annual General Meeting in November.
The Committee manage the legal, financial and employment responsibilities of the Kindergarten. Roles of the Parent Committee are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Maintenance Officer, Communications Officer, Safeguard Officer, and Room Representatives.
Working Bees
Ave Maria Kindergarten elects Maintenance Officers (parent volunteers). These wonderful parents/carers will fix equipment and keep up with the maintenance of the building during the year. This helps to keep cost of repairs to a minimum. Each term they hold a working bee where parents can help at kinder with gardening and maintenance work.
Parents and Carers can contribute to the kindergarten in other ways including assisting with fundraising and social events, maintenance, grants and submissions, policies and procedures and parent help duties for your child's group. Speak to your Room Representative or child's teacher for further information.
Storypark
Ave Maria Kindergarten uses Storypark as a safe, secure, online sharing platform.
We use Storypark to capture each child's development by posting photos, videos, stories, moments, notes and responses.
Families can also use Storypark to communicate with the educators, post comments and see what is happening in the kinder community.
You receive updates, photos and videos from your child's teachers throughout the day.
